Getting started with cPanel: a beginner-friendly tour

cPanel packs a lot of icons, but you only need a handful to get a site live. Here is the short tour we give every new customer.

The five tools you will use first

• File Manager — upload your site to the public_html folder.
• Domains — point a domain or add a subdomain.
• Email Accounts — create mailboxes on your own domain.
• Databases (MySQL) — create the database your app needs.
• SSL/TLS Status — confirm the free HTTPS certificate is active.
